Who are we?
Fourway has been in business since 1980 doing IT services for various computer and networking systems. Over time, as the internet age started coming about, we jumped into the internet game by providing dial-up internet service to customers starting in 1997. AOL was the standard at the time.
The business has evolved since then into what it is today: providing high-speed internet service to our customers through wireless (microwave) antennas and through fiber optic connections. All throughout, we have been performing IT services across a large quantity of computer and networking technologies over the many decades.
We care deeply about the work that we do and it shows through our actions. Many of the employees at our company, including the management, have been working and living in this area for a very long time. On top of that, many of us use the internet service ourselves at our own homes.
How we provide internet service
We use wireless antennas to provide internet service to our customers, with those antennas having line of sight to the network of towers that we utilize. This allows us to provide internet service to a vast number of areas, including ones that other companies are not able or willing to do.
We do provide fiber internet as well in a few different areas. While we originally started out supplying internet service wirelessly, fiber is now part of our offerings. The technology that we use is always evolving and changing, which makes working in this business exciting and never dull.
IT services evolution
The computer systems and networking systems of today are vastly different from what they were when we started out. Technology evolves and the complexity is much higher than it used to be. Like the internet side of our business, that makes this work very exciting and challenging at the same time.
